Bookcase Pinspiration

I know I promised you all in my Junky Old Barn post that I would reveal the bookcase yesterday and I didn't because of my When things go from good to GREAT! post. So I am extending things a little bit longer today and I am giving you all of my Pinspiration for the bookcase. It took me quite a while to decide what to do about the little yellow bookcase. I just wasn't happy with the way it looked. I couldn't decide what color to paint it or if I wanted to do a design on it. So here is the inspiration I used to decide what to do about my little bookcase.

First I thought I might do something like this, paint the top a different color then the bottom. That could be interesting right? I love this table, the contrast of dark and light is something I love. I think that Bryn did an amazing job on this table. To find out step by step what Bryn did and how to make your own table like this go to Bryn Alexandra and check it out.

Now this table I am really in love with. I think it is gorgeous and I might use this for my table inspiration, I talked about it last week here. I just might use stripes for that, so I wasn't to sure about using stripes for my little bookcase and using stripes for my kitchen table. But I just adore this table, it is so gorgeous. What's not to love? If you love it also go see Jesse at Nine Red and check out his other amazing furniture makeovers.

I adore this table, seriously. I want to paint every table I have this color. But I don't think that would look to cute, then I would be the crazy woman with pink everything in her house. But I seriously love what Jessica did with the top of this table. It is super cute, I wish I had her nieces play room! I thought a cool design like this might be fun for the top of my bookcase but I didn't know how well it would go with a rectangular top. To find out how Jessica achieved this top go check out Juicy Bits and see her.

So here is my little book case. What do you think I should do with it? I've already decided on a color but the design is still in debate. So which is your favorite? Or do you have a completely different idea that you think would look better?
