Not so happy Monday

Sorry friends I won't have a recipe up today like my usual What's for Dinner on Monday's. I will have something great for tomorrow though!

After a long weekend of working I get to spend my Monday going to a funeral. It is never easy to go to funerals, even if you aren't really close to the person who passed I never seem to walk out with dry eyes. The McKinsey family has been amazing to my family and I know they will greatly miss Jim. He was an amazing man and treated everyone he met like a friend. Its hard to see someone lose the battle with cancer but knowing the pain is gone makes things easier. I know God has a plan and this is part of it. I pray that he eases the suffering and heartache of Jim's family and friends.

I'm praying for peace, peace for the McKinsey family, my family, our country, the world, and in our hearts. What are you praying for?

  1. Hi Morgan! Sorry to hear about your friend passing away from cancer, my father-in-law passed away several years ago from cancer as well...its a terrible disease which I hope a cure is found for soon. Thank you so much for leaving such lovely comments on my blog today! I wanted to reply to your comment on my blog but couldn't because you are a "No Reply Blogger" which means that when you leave a comment on a blog, that blogger can't reply to you. DOn't worry though it is easy to fix in your profile settings. You can read how to fix it here at Turnstyle Vogue Blog:

Anyway I wanted to let you know, so that you can fix it, I am sure it will help increase traffic back to your blog and help you build your blogging network! Take care- Heather
