Big Girl Presents

I guess when you grow up you have to start asking for things you actually need for your presents instead of things you just want. Especially since I am a college student it is always important to ask for the big things for my birthday and Christmas since I generally can't afford them by myself. So my birthday isn't for a few more weeks yet but I asked for good cookware from my grandma for my birthday.

She went ahead and got them for me since I haven't had any pots since I moved in and I want to start cooking and stop eating out so much. I am really excited about my big girl present because they are really cool. I love to cook and I am really glad I got nice cookware that will hopefully last me quite a while if I take good care of it.

This is not a sponsored post, I am not being compensated in any way for this post. I just like the product and wanted to share my views on it.

I got my cookware at Bed, Bath, and Beyond, it is the Bialetti brand and had very good reviews. After researching different places I found that they have the most affordable quality cookware and I am very happy with my purchase. These pans are very thick and seem really durable. I followed the instructions and washed them with hot soapy water before the first use and they all seem fine.

For the first meal on my new pots we made grilled ham and cheeses, well Jarr made them while I cleaned the kitchen. We are such a good team. (And he really is a great cook so I like when he volunteers even if it's something simple.) The pots have a non-stick coating on them that worked great for the grilled ham and cheeses. I let the pan cool before I washed it but everything still came off really easily.

I am VERY happy with my new cookware. I love how the skillets have handles on both sides, this makes it really easy to use when you have to strain something. I am really excited to use these more and I will be giving you another review in a few months so you know how they are working out.

What was your first big kid present?
