Happy Memorial Day!!

Today is such an important day for our country and I hope that everyone will take a minute to remember all of the men and women who have served for our freedom.

In this world it is easy to get caught up in everything and forget that even today there are American's fighting and serving so we can live here in peace. So take a minute and remember that freedom doesn't come free. We are only free because of all the brave men and women who made the ultimate sacrifice for us.

I'm so thankful to be an American and for all of the freedoms we are given. I hope that everyone takes a minute today to say a prayer for all of those serving and those mourning the loss of someone who did serve.

Thank you so much for your service and dedication.

Memorial Day Food Ideas

With Memorial Day being Monday I wanted to share some fun and easy memorial day food ideas that would be great for a party or get together anyone might be having. All of these look great and like something anyone could whip up quickly.

These berry kabobs look really yummy and simple. This would be super easy if you have little hands who want to help. I like this versions also for a party because people won't be touching everything which is much cleaner. Check out all the info on this at BHG.com

This looks so good! I love how they did the red, white, and blue dipped oreo's. This is something you could do with a lot of different food varieties. Check out Saving Dollars and Sense to get the details about these bad boys.

These pretzel sticks look amazing and I'm 90% sure if I tried this mine wouldn't look as good. I think these are perfect for Memorial day festivities and Lady Behind the Curtain gives you all the details on how to make these.

I couldn't find a home for this guy on pinterest but I think this is pretty self explanatory. This looks great and you could mix it up with different red, white, and blue fruits and foods. I really like that they did white chocolate pretzels which are delicious and you can buy prepackaged so there's less work for you.

Who doesn't look a good rice krispies treat!?! These look super yummy and I love the red, white, and blue look. Check out all the info on how to do this over at Lil Luna.

This flag inspired wreath is gorgeous and if you know how to make wreaths I'm sure would be simple. If you are like me and you don't know how you can get it here on Etsy. The best part about this wreath is you could use it for Memorial day and for the Fourth of July.

I really really really love these mason jars. I think they look amazing and there is probably no way I could ever get any to look this good. To get a tutorial on how to make these beauty's go over to It All Started With Paint.

These look so good! I really like how these have little flags on them and I think they turned out amazing. I think this is super simple and something that wouldn't take a lot of time but looks great. Keep Clam and Decorate has all the information on how to make these beauty's.

These tin cans are a great way to reuse something you already have at home. I think this is simple but looks so good! To get all the details on these guys go over to Stockpiling Moms

This is a great idea that you could easily have your little one's help you with. I think this would be great for all of July and Memorial Day which is always nice. Get the detail on how to make this over at Fave Crafts.

Gender Reveal Party Decor

Yesterday I shared different gender reveal ideas so today I am going to share different party ideas. I think that this is the perfect excuse to have a fabulous party with lots of fun decor and games for everyone to participate in. I am getting really excited to find out what my future god child will be so this is a great way to use some of that energy!

I really like the idea of wearing something that will show if you are team boy or team girl. I think that the mustache and bow idea is super cute! These would be a little hard to make yourself but the link above is to a super cute etsy shop that makes them for you!

This idea is something you could definitely do yourself. It is also super easy to use and I think you could get almost everyone to use these.

I really love the idea of using different pink and blue candies and snacks. I think this is super cute and would be fun to do a table for everyone to enjoy. This is also pretty easy to DIY, you can just use food coloring for the treats to make them the right color.

This is a super cute and simple idea that wouldn't be expensive but that would look great. I think this is super fun and a great idea.

I love the idea of having fun punch like this. I think this is super cute and would also be a good way to show if you are team boy or team girl. Plus this is a great way to incorporate pink and blue items in your party.

I think this is a really fun idea also, it would be great to get peoples name ideas. It is also fun to see what people would pick for a boy or girl. I really like the idea of doing this for a gender reveal party and seeing if the couple picks one of these names.

And of course some cute decor for the door is a must.  I really like how they have divided the sign and the use of the banner below the sign. This is super cute and definitely something you could easily replicate.

Which is your favorite gender reveal party idea? What do you think is a must?
