Selfie Sunday

This weekend we went to the city and spent some time with my family out at the lake. We had a great time spending the day on the water and being with our family.

We are very blessed to have such a wonderful family and life.

Now we have really sleepy fur-babies, they love to snuggle up with momma on the couch.

Peaks, Pits, Praises, and Prayers

I'm going to start off this weeks Peaks, Pits, Praises, and Prayers with a little weekly recap of everything you can find on the blog from this week. I gave a little update about our Spring Break Vacation, there was more information about Getting Physical for our Healthy Living Journey.  For Wedding Wednesday this week I talked about Wedding Favors and if they are a thing of the past or still something couples should do. I also shared my lust over some gorgeous Bathroom Dreams I've been having for my future home.

Peaks- I am really loving the warm weather we have been having here in Oklahoma. It is giving me the opportunity to wear fun dresses and mix up my style.

Pits- This weather although I'm loving it we are having some bad tornado activity and that just makes me nervous.

Praises- We are one week closer to the wedding! I am so ready for us to be married and to be able to start this new chapter of our lives together. Also, we have our first wedding shower this Saturday and I'm very excited to see some people I haven't been able to see in a while. 

Prayers- For my grandma, she was diagnosed with COPD about a month ago and she quit smoking and has been struggling with it. Just that she will continue to be strong and that she will find strength within herself. Also for all of this crazy tornado weather and that everyone is weather aware and careful. 

My cousin's puppy, Dally, I got to snuggle and love on at Easter last week.

Selfie Sunday

Summer has been crazy for us like everyone I'm sure. It's a day late and a dollar short but we just got back from a small weekend vacay so it's technically my Sunday still. 

My sweet Remy is getting so big! This princess is in obedience school and almost 55 pounds! 

I got a few photos of my babies snuggling together and napping. I'm so happy with my little family and fur-babies.

This weekend we went and watched Jarr's younger brother play in an All-Star football game and we got home last night at about 3:30. So today we slept in, ran a few errands, did laundry, and I made some goodies for Jarr to take back with him for work this week.

He's doing an internship about 5 hours away from home so we only get to see him on the weekends. I'm so thankful that I get the weekends though. It might be all summer but at least it's only 5 days at a time.

Remy's new favorite toy is a laundry basket. 

Both of my babies are snuggle bugs.

Today has been a day of snuggling with my fur babies and playing outside.

I love spending time with my babies.  Remy got spayed on Thursday and had a little hernia removed from her belly so she is a little cone head for a few weeks until she gets all healed up.  She has been so good though and I'm so proud of her.

This weekend was full of moving Jarr and lots of driving. My little ones are both missing day but glad to be home. 

Remy likes to use all of her toys as pillows.

Grown up Presents

Sometimes its nice to buy yourself an amazing gift just because you have worked hard and you deserve it. One of the things I want to do on my 30 Before 30 challenge is buy myself a Mac. I finally did it! Since I'm a college student I was able to go through our IT store on campus and get a really good discount. I used that and money I have saved and finally did it! 

This is it! I got to take off the plastic and set it all up which was really fun to do. For me this is the best part of getting something new. I LOVE pulling off the plastic and setting it all up. It's really excited for me. 

Of course Eli is a HUGE fan and he loves to sit on top of it and play. He thinks it's so fun to help mom. 

I'm a freak about making sure my stuff is taken care of and doesn't get messed up so Jarr got me a cover for the outside and the key board as a present. He's the best! 

The blog looks so good on my new beauty! I am soooo glad that I finally splurged on myself and got it. I love this beauty, she is great!

This week is finals week and we have a lot going on with work and moving Jarr at the end of the week for his internship this summer. This is our day in a nutshell.

We got a new big girl collar today, someone is 5 months old and getting so big! 

I can always count on my snuggle bug to lay with me.

Selfie Sunday

Today has really just been a lazy Sunday for us at home doing homework, cleaning house, and doing laundry. The morning started off with a nice long walk up to campus with Remy. We walked around for about an hour which ended up being about 5 miles. It was a great walk for all of us and it wore our little girl right out. 

Remy spent a lot of time today napping in her pen while we did homework and cleaned house. 

Of course this made Eli exhausted and he needed to nap also. 

We had a little spurt of bad weather and all of those white spots are hail. It only lasted for about 30 minutes but we made sure we were weather aware. 

This of course stressed Remy out and she thought she needed to pull every single toy she has out of her play box while me and Eli watched the news. Thank goodness our little storm didn't last long so the kids settled down after that.

Peaks, Pits, Praises, Prayers

This week has been a little rough. It's the week back from Spring Break and getting back into our routine has been very tiring. Even just taking off for 3 days like I did can through off your routine. It is nice to be home with my babies though. I definitely missed them while I was laying on the beach. 

Peaks: Being home with my family and getting to spend time with my fur babies every day is great! 

This is a picture of my cutie pies sleeping after a long day of playing. 

Pits: Not being on the beach working on my tan. I had so much fun last week with my best friend going to the beach. It was a much needed break. 

My view for a few days last week. 

Praises: Having my loved ones be so supportive in my life. Jarr gave me a few days off and took care of our fur babies without any complaint. He stayed home with them and let me have a much needed break. 

Prayers: One of my co-workers very unexpectedly lost a family member this week. It has definitely been tough for her and her family. Also my family as we are hitting some major milestones without Matthew this year. 

It's always nice to come home to this cutie pie who is still so excited to see you everyday.

Today has been such a great day with my fur babies at home. It's beautiful outside and we had so much fun playing and training outside. Here are some pictures of my little sleepy babies. 

Remy loves snuggling with her toys and napping after playtime. 

Eli is always my snuggle bug on the couch. 

Remy loves getting her big bone when we do brushing every night. This has been the best way to get her used to new things. 

Remy just wears Eli out at the end of the day after lots of play time.
